Just welcomed my daughter, Megan, into the world on September 5th!







Megan won her first contest!


I am 29 years old and have been married to my fantastic husband since October 25, 2008. We got married in Vegas with 20 of our family and friends with us. We dated for three and a half years before getting married.



I believe in not believing in one "type" of parenting.

I take a lot of parenting advice from my mom and sister because I like how their kids turned out!

I am pro CIO for sleep training but not for any other time of day.

I am not a germaphobe and believe that too much antibacterial and sanitizer will get my child more sick when she goes to school. We practice great handwashing and other common sense personal hygiene.

I read to my daughter every day; she already has 55 books for her library. I love to read; always have, and feel that its the key to a good education.

I formula feed. I am not anti BFing. I tried for a few days but a combo of her tongue tie, my pain following c section and a bout of baby blues stopped me. I AM anti BFing nazis who think I'm poisoning my child.

Things that truly piss me off - people that don't vaccinate their children, people who homeschool their children who shouldn't because they just aren't smart enough themselves, SAHMs who think that I'm evil for actually enjoying my job, and woman in general who forget about themselves as a person the day they become a mom.


We also have a puppy, Lola. She is a mini schnauzer and is ten months old. We actually picked her out right before finding out we were pregnant at Christmastime. She is a snuggler and is adapting to Megan very well.
