My husband and I live in Ohio. We have two dogs and a cat, and we are expecting twins! We found out at 13 weeks that one is a boy and at 16 weeks that he will have a sister! I have PCOS and endometrosis so our babies were concieved on our fourth round of clomid. We just bought a new house and can't wait to bring the babies home!
My pregnancy has been a rollercoaster. For the first trimester and half of the second I had extreme morning sickness that often landed me in the er. Once that let up, I began having problems with preterm labor. At 17 weeks I started Procardia, which worked until about 21 weeks. I then was switched to terbutaline pills, then the terbutaline pump. In addition I also started monitoring contractions with an at home device that sends data to nurses to make sure everything is alright. At 28 weeks the pump stopped working for me and I started having contractions every two minutes that were changing my cervix. They gaveme my first dose of steroid shots, transfered me to a bigger hospital and started me on a magnesium iv with sulindac. After a few hours the contractions slowed (thankfully) and I spent a week in the hospital. I'm now back home on the terbutaline pump again and strict bedrest. I'm hoping these anxious babies stay put for atleast 5 more weeks (34 weeks) but ideally past 36.
