thank you so much, you honestly hav made me feel so much better about this whole thing. they said she does need it bc the muscle isnt totally together, and the part that looks like a scar is the muscle "bunched" up kinda.

were taking her to the childrens hospital inWI they told me they are one of the top hospitals for clefts in the nation, that made me feel more at ease. the nurse is also sending me pictures of a few kiddos with the same type of cleft as haylie so i can see before and afters of them.

i also met another little boy with it and his muscles had sealed but he had small "bunching" but his main problem was his teeth grew in all over...i didnt know this was even a consern with cleft and so its another worry on my list now.

her date is set for Jan 8th in the early afternoon (they didnt give an exact time)
but they told me she cant eat after 4am till after surgery!!! how did you deal with this lol my child gets CRAZY when she doesnt eat lol
