Finding out:
When did you find out you were pregnant? Friday, Feb. 13.
Was it planned? Oh god no.
What was your first reaction? I swore pretty loudly.
Who was with you when you found out? My friend Diandra.
Who was the first person you told? Diandra.
How did they react? I'm pretty sure I was openly mocked for not believing her.
How did the daddy react? With tears. We were having an extremely rocky period.
How far along are you? I am 24 weeks, 4 days.

Telling the grandparents:
How did your parents react? Both sets were a mix between shocked and excited- this is bio-mom's first grandchild, foster parent's third grandchild.
How did his parents react? His mom reacted with anger, his dad was like "Oh, ok"
Are they helping with baby names? They did, but Dr. J and I decided for either gender by 10 weeks.
Have they bought anything for the baby yet? God yes. This child is loaded.
How often are you checked on? Daily.

What was your first symptom? I was soooooooo ungodly tired. I slept all day, I slept on my lunch break and on the the floor while working overnights.
What is your due date? October 18th.
Do you know the sex of the baby? Yes
If so, what is it? A boy.
Are you happy with what you're having? Totally- he is perfect in every way.
How much weight have you gained? 14 pounds.
Do you have stretch marks? Had 'em before, will get more during, and will have them after.
Have you felt the baby move? When don't I?
Have you heard the heartbeat? Oh yeah. 120 first appt., 179 second, now a cool 148
What was your first emotion when you saw your baby's face on the gender u/s? I was gone and absolutely devastated with how much love could burst out of my chest. My love could have been a chestburster from Alien.

Natural or medicated birth? Hopefully natural, not objective to medicated.

Will you breastfeed? I'm hoping too- these hooters are too large to waste.
Do you think you'll need a c-section? Depends. Family history on both sides have large babies, but natural deliveries- we have the hips of fertility goddesses.

Things have been kinda rocky. My SO and I broke up for about a month and then he came back. Everything seemed to be going fine and now he seems to be pulling away again. I can't figure out what's going on with him, I can't read him, and he won't talk to me. I'm so scared of losing him, again, and having it be for real this time. I love him. I just can't get him to open up to me.
Still haven't found a new job. Had to get on food stamps and apply for General Relief which puts you in a program that helps you with job hunting. So hopefully things will turn around soon.
