Number One's on the way!

Me and my Dear Husband are expecting out first! Got my first BFP ever on July 8th, 2009!


We were married on June 21st of '08 and by our calculations (and now our doctors calculations, also!), we conceived this child on our One Year Anniversary! How's THAT for timing?! Ha!  

Him and I have been together for 10 (!) years, so this is definitely a new chapter for us, and we are sooo excited!

I'm looking forward to sharing my story here and reading the stories of others. I'm sure MUCH help and humor will be in order in the next while!

I took this test on July 8th, one day after AF was due. And I use the term 'due' loosely because my cycle ranges from 30 to whenever-it-feels-like-it days.

Thing is, I had been to the Doctor a week before, on the 30th of June, for a pregnancy test, because I was SURE that I got pregnant in May. Like "get this crazy lady out of this office right now" kind of sure.

Test was negative, so I didn't even think about it all that next week. Until the night/morning of the 7th/8th I had a dream that I took a HPT and it was crazy positive!

I woke up and had to pee desperately, and as I rushed to the bathroom, I remembered that I had a leftover test from the weeks before.

I took it & wall-ah! WICKED pregnant!

I never would have taken it if I hadn't had that dream. Crazy.

Congrats!!!! We have the same due date. We found out we were pregnant a few days before my daughter's first birthday. love your pug
