I have, countless times, been called "hateful" for quoting scripture. I have also been called every name in the book by people who call me, "hateful".

If you are turned off by Christianity because of the examples of some so called Christians, I have some advice for you:
Don't be THAT Christian and don't use the actions of fallible people keep you away from a loving, infallible and gracious God. You and you alone are the only one responsible for your relationship (or lack of) with the Man upstairs. Don't worry about others. Worry about yourself, in this regard.
