hey ladies!!! I'm Danielle. I am 19 yrs old. I am expecting my first child, a son, Dec 5th, 2009.. That father and I are having some issues... so we don't know exactly WHATS going on... Which sucks.. I have been diagnosed with PIH (pregnancy induced Hypertension) in the 8th month of my pregnancy.. and honestly as much as i love it.. with my PIH and the stress.. I cant wait for my son to arrive!!!

May 5, 2009Went to my family DR because I thought I was getting motion sickness like I had as a child. The nurse had asked if I had done a urine test. I said no and she suggested to do one just in case. Within 30 seconds of her leaving the room she returned and said it was positive! My BFP in 30 sec! So because I didn't know how far along I was they drew blood to determine.

May 6, 2009DR office called and said according to my bloodwork I was 5-6 Weeks along.

May 26, 2009First Ultrasound. I didn't know what to expect at 9 weeks.. How the baby would look or anything.. I was still in shock from my BFP. Turns out.. I was 13 WEEKS along! they were off my an entire month! So I had gone through my entire 1st Trimester knowing I was pregnant for about 3 weeks.

July 6, 2009First Prenatal Appt with new OB. (18wks) I got the entire talk about being pregnant AGAIN. Josh (SO) was with me for this appt. This is also the first time he had heard the baby's heartbeat. Baby was sleeping at the time. (The night before was the first time Josh(SO) felt the baby move, it was very exciting!)

July 16, 2009 (19.5wks)Second Ultrasound. Josh(SO) attended this ultrasound (his first U/S). The tech took her measurements and said baby weighed 11oz. and he was very very very healthy and my placenta looked great. good texture and color and such. BPM 139. At 1:00pm we found out, our little miracle was a BOY!!! That day we headed straight home and went to our name book and decided on Joel Valentine.

August 4, 2009 (22wks) Prenatal Appt. Weight gain since July 6 was 12 lbs. Had urine screen. met with an OB and discussed BH and RLP. Listened to Joel's HB. Sounded great!

September 4, 2009 (27wks) Prenatal Appt. Weight gain since Aug. 4 was 6 lbs. Had urine screen. Meet with OB. Couldn't get another U/S. She said I will have to get one soon anyways but cant get one until then unless there is a medical reason.. Listened to Joel's HB and he was healthy!! Joel wouldn't stop squirming everytime she tried to get his HB so she could count it. it was funny!!

October 2, 2009 (31wks) Prenatal Appt. Weight gain since Sept. 4 was 9 lbs. Almost 30 lb weight gain total.. Blood Pressure was elevated. Had urine screen.. Glucose test results still haven't been received yet. Didn't hear about my next u/s yet.. Talked to OB about back pain.. Listened to Joel's heartbeat.. 131-135bpm.   DH started to cry  


October 13, 2009(almost 33wks) Visit to L&D. Had severe headache all day.. tylenol didnt help.. seeing white spots.. back pain.. sharp vaginal pains.. pelvic pressure.. bp was monitored. along with joel's hb. been placed on bed rest because my bp elevates to quickly.. the sharp vaginal pain is my cervix effacing.. i have lots of Q's for my dr at my next appt on oct 15.

October 15, 2009 (32.5wks) Prenatal Appt. Weight gain since Oct. 2 was 4 lbs. Total weight gain so far 33 lbs. Had Urine Screen. Blood Pressure was elevated again. (140/64) Received Glucose test results. Got 94. (anything under 135 is good!) Ultrasound scheduled for Oct 21. To check for IUGR. Listened to Joel's HB. Good and Strong. OB had me schedule next prenatal appt for 1 week. Got to go to hospital to get jug for 24hr urine screen and blood work to check for pre-eclampsia.

October 20, 2009 (33wks) Prenatal Appt. still on bed rest... weighed in at 171 lb.. bp still elevated.. had urine screen. listened to Joel's HB.. good and strong as always! Ob scheduled me for another 2 week appt..

October 21, 2009 (33wks) Ultrasound - Joel measured up to being 33.4wks. and he looked and sounded GREAT!!!! gt better pictures!!! He weighed about 5lb 6 oz and is predicted to be 8+ lb at birth!! yay!

November 3, 2009(35/36 weeks) Prenatal Appt - Bp was NORMAL finally!! 122/84!! yay!! weighed 172lbs. 1 lb gain in 2 weeks. Joel's heartbeat sounded GREAT!!!!! Got my urine screen as always. MEasuring 1 week ahead!! Got my Strep B test and cervix checked. 50% effaced!!! Cervix still closed. Hoping for 1 cm dialation by next appt in 1 wk on Nov 11th!! He will be here soon!!!
EDIT:: 11/3/09 EVENING --- Experienced bleeding, abdominal cramping, severe sharp vaginal pain and lower back pain.. Call the DR and he said it sounds like the start of my bloody show and it should stop within 24 hrs.... I better get my hospital bag packed...
