My name's Alyssa and my fiance, Will, and I found out at the end of July that we're going to be parents. I was 7 weeks and 2 days when my doctor asked if I wanted to take a pregnancy test while I was there, and it lit right up. I'm due March 14th!

On October 23rd I had my first anatomy scan in the UK and everything looked great. The baby refused to move into a decent position at first though, so I had to eat chocolate and take two 20 minute walks before the tech could see things properly.I was then supposed to have the same ultrasound in the US on the 27th, but apparently the equipment broke. So on the 28th we went in, and everything looked fine again. But when it came to finding out the gender we had a bit of trouble. Our baby refused to uncross their legs for a decent shot. The tech said she's about 60% sure it's a BOY though, so I'm quite happy.

What was your first symptom?: No period, I guess. I still haven’t really had any bad symptoms.
What religion will the baby know? And from what side?: Neither the father nor I are religious, but our baby will be christened/baptized for the sake of our family. What denomination is up in the air, however.
What music or interests do you want the baby to know?: I don’t mind. I imagine as far as music the baby will like older music because that’s what Daddy and I like. And we’ll be stressing the importance of reading. But beyond that, no idea.
