My husband and I have been together since 2004, we met when a pizza place opened in our local town and we both got jobs there. I made him chase it, hehe and boy did he. He is 12 hours older then I am, he was born aprox. 5am August 27th and I was born aprox. 5pm the same day. We got married when our daughter was about 2yrs old and she is now 4and am now expecting a second^-^ I got my BA in Business Administration back in March and looked for a job until we found out I was pregnant with our first positive pregnancy test on July 4th, had two negative pregnancy tests earlier that same week. So that following monday went in for a blood test for 100% confirmation and got it! Since then have had an ultrasound to find out how far along I was...pics are posted! So if anyone knows ideas on how to find a job when you have a BA please let me know cause I was having a hell of a time. Thanks for stopping by. *-^

We had a regular OB appointment today, ultrasound was scheduled for September 22nd, baby's heartbeat first caught on dopplar, 158 bpm. .Everything seems normal and progressing nicely. More to report in two weeks ^-^ Today my sister came and talked with me and she is also pregnant and keeping her baby, she is 2 weeks behind me!


September 22th 2009
Had our second ultrasound, heart-rate was 158bpm, and my cervix is doing great so I most likely will not have to have a cerclage. Secondly, she said if she had to take a guess, she would say girl....but for a more accurate answer in 5 weeks...more to report then.



October 8th 2009
Had another regular OB appointment, baby's heartbeat was 150's again and everything seems fine. We also scheduled our 20 week ultrasound...more to report on that come November 5th.

That's so crazy but I'm glad everything is going pretty smooth for you. I really would hate to see it any other way, you know. I'm jealous it's so smooth for you though but it's all good. I think the next time I get pregnant, it'll probably be a lot easier/better on me. Don't know why. I think I'll just have a better idea, probably won't be as confused/stressed and I bet that it'll be easier as far as pain/sickness/etc goes. Ben's mom... the other day... tells me flat out. "You guys have to be careful after Lincoln." I was like, "huh?" Then, it donged on me and I was like "WHAT DO YOU THINK I AM?!" I'm NOT wanting another baby right away. I've been so miserable most of this pregnancy, just now am I pretty used to it... I want my body, lungs, appetite, everything back for at least a while! Geeeeeze, lol.
That's cool about the kid sharing a room with you guys. I understand. If we didn't have the room, we'd be doing that too. It works out well for us though. We're in a room and right across the hallway is the nursery. If we had been in the room in this house we used to be in... we just would have shared for a while because the room was so big and so away from the rest of the rooms/and the rest of the house (it was the old garage).
I'm really glad for your sister. Hopefully, she just starts to pull everything together. It seems like she's getting a good start! I'm praying she does.
