I am 26, married for four years this February, cloth diapering, breastfeeding, attachment parent. I have one beautiful little boy with my husband and we are so thankful for the gift of him. He has changed our out look on life and our perspective on many things. He is our world and we are so blessed to have him in our lives.
August....Ethan is an avid signer...he know lots of animals signs and can do their sounds sooo cute.
Favorite song atm is twinkle twinkle little start..he sings that words he can say while he looks through the book.
We are working on learning our letter..so far he can recognize B, M..he says mama, D he says dad, P he says Papa, E he points to himself, T, I ,O, L he signs lion, Y.
I love teaching my son new things it is fun for us both.
September...Ethan is suddenly having a language surge..he has said so many new words this week..leg, up, puppy, neat and cool. I knew this would happen very soon and it is fun now that it is here but we are still signing..that is a skill we don't want him to lose. He now know all the upper case letter of the alphabet except Z, W, X, F, J, S, U...he know which letter they are but hasn't said the letter yet. If I say show Mommy the X he will point to it but if I ask him what letter is this he just grunts. He is almost there. This week Ethan has started to learn many letter sounds..Super Why is a great show...I didn't realize how many he knew until the other morning when he was doing it with the cartoon.
October.....Ethan is learning so much this month. He can say all his letters upper case and lower case some not perfect however he says it the same for upper case and lower case. Can sign and say red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, brown, white, and black. the signs are not perfect but close enough. He has been learning a few new words everyday. This has been an exciting month. New favorite movies are Disney's Heffalump and Finding Nemo. His new favorite songs are from the Heffalump movie and he is starting to make up his own songs too. A new favorite activity is running around the coffee table to music...makes me very nauseous but Ethan loves it.
