Hey, Im Kristen. I am 23 years old, I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I LOVE IT. I grew up here, but am semi-well traveled. Salt Lake is home, I recommend it to everyone. Me and my boyfriend Jon have been together since May of 08, we are expecting our first baby in Jan of 10'. This pregnancy wasn't expected, but you know what they call people who use the pull out method....parents;). I'm amazed everyday to see the changes we have gone through since we found out. Not just physically, but mentally. I'm excited for what the future holds. Bring it on baby. I am pretty sure that our child will be paying us back for the little shits we were to our parents, but were ready. At 31 weeks, I'm entering the most Mom mode I have ever been, Its a little freaky, but well worth it. For everyone else that is pregnant out there, hang in there the good times are just around the corner. And remember, you think 9 months is bad, at least you aren't an elephant, they are pregnant for 22 months.

Finding out!!
What day did u find out?: May 15th, 2009 (at home test) May 16th, hospital confirmed.
How did u feel when u found out?:Angry, scared, excited, I was in alot of pain though, so I was also very worried.
Who was with you?: I peed on the stick by myself. But my best friend knew I was in there.
Who was the first person u told?:Sam
How did the daddy react?: I was very mad at first, so we kinda fought. He took off with his friend.
Telling the grandparents!
How did ur parents react?:I called my mom hysterical, she hugged me and told me she felt bad for me. Then took me to get my prenantals and juice   I figured my dad would flip, he took us to dinner and told Jon he got us into this mess, it was time for him to man up.
How did his parents react?: I think she was excited, she always talked about him having kids. I think she was upset it was with me
Are they helping with baby names?: They tell me the ones they dont like.
Have they bought anything for the baby yet?: My mom has bought tons and tons of stuff. My dad said he bought an outfit, i havent seen it. And he is getting us the crib.
How often do they call to check on you?: I talk to my parents at least twice a day.
About the pregnancy!
When was your first appointment?: End of may...
When is your due date?: 01/15/10
How far along are you?: 26 + weeks
Pre-pregnancy weight?: 187, fatty.
Weight now?: Too much.
Have you had an ultrasound?: I have had 5. But only two that weren't making sure there was still a baby in there.
Have u heard the heartbeat?: Lots of times. So has my little sister, my mom, my dad and Jon.
What was the heartbeat?: at my last appt. it was 148
Sex of the baby!
What do you want?:I wanted, and am having a boy!
What does the daddy want?: A boy
What do you think you are having?: I was pretty sure he was a boy. I craved boy foods, but I told everyone a girl so I wouldnt be shocked.
Have you had your big ultrasound yet?: Yes, plus one (they couldnt see his spine)
If so, what are you having?: A lil dude.
Are u happy with what you having?: Very much so, but seeing all the cute girl clothes I get a little in want for a girl. Im just stoked for healthy!
About the birth!
Do you know what your taking with you?: Jon and a mixed cd. Other then that Im not sure yet.
Who is going to be with you?: Jon for sure, I wouldnt be opposed to my little sister and mom either.
Are you going to videotape it?: No.
Natural or medicated?: Medicated,unless I become superwoman in the last hours of this pregnancy.
Do you think you will need a c-section?: I wonder
Will you cry when you hold your baby for the first time?: definitely.
Do you know what you will say to the baby when you first hold him/her?: I have no clue.
Are you scared about the labor?: Terrified.

Do u have a name picked out?: Jett Orion Kay Woodmansee
Is your baby going to be named after someone?: Kay was my grandpas middle name.
