About Me:
i'm Aileen, but you can call me Leenie. It's one of those childhood nicknames that just seemed to stick. I'm 23 and will be a mommy some time in late March/early April (due March 28 ). Jesse and I have been together for 3 years now (engaged for 1), and we couldn't be happier. We haven't completely nailed a wedding date down, but didn't want to rush into it just because of the pregnancy. We're very fortunate to be able to care for our baby girl and give her everything she could ever want. I work as a dental hygienist and Jesse is a commercial pilot. We bought our first house over the summer and we're in the process of remodeling. I'm probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet, and find myself bending over backward to help others. I'm really enjoying being on here and sharing my pregnancy experience, as well as sharing the experiences of other mamas!
About My Pregnancy:
This is my first pregnancy. It definitely wasn't planned, but it's a blessing nonetheless. Luckily, it has been very easy! I took my birth control religiously, but a round of antibiotics made my pill ineffective. We conceived our baby in Pensacola over the 4th of July holiday. We knew we wanted children together and had talked about TTC sometime next year - but, I guess God had different plans. He's blessed us with a VERY active baby girl. Jesse says she'll be a soccer player, but I think she'll be a gymnast! We have decided on the name
Sloane Bardot. Sloane because it's unique, yet classy, and not a name every other girl in the first grade will have. Bardot for Jesse's great-aunt that practically raised him, but passed away last year. (For those of you who are wondering, it's pronounced Sl-own Bar-doe) The princess should grace us with her presence sometime around March 28, 2010.
