My name is Ashley, i'm 11 and a half weeks pregnant. I'm still trying to figure out how to balance being a mom while working and going to school full time, but I'm sure I'll manage   I'm definitely scared to death, but I know everything happens for a reason!
My baby is going to be bi-racial I am the tiniest pastiest white girl and my babys father is full puerto rican, so he/she will definitely have crazy curly dark hair like we both have and gorgeous glowing skin that I will forever envy   Eric plans on speaking to the baby in spanish as much as possible. My babys father is a jerk but wants to take care of his child. From day one it has been a struggle for us to get along but here we are over two years later, god obviously had a plan for us so we are trying to work it out but regardless of what happens with us, our baby is a miracle and mommy and daddy love you.

So I had my first scare and ran to the dr. apparently I've developed a viral infection called Bell's Palsy. Its when the nerves in your face temporarily stop working I guess, or at least that's what happened in my case. I couldn't shut my eye completely on the right side as well as move that side of my lips or taste anything on that side of my tongue. The dr. said it is most commonly seen in pregnant women, it can go away in anywhere from a few days, weeks, maybe 6 months, if ever. Great news...it is embarrassing, painful, and SUPER annoying. I'm taking some steroids to help reduce the chance of it being permanent which scares me, the Dr. says only a 7% risk of hurting baby but stilllllll.... So as of now I have terrible all day nauseousness, horrendous back pain, headaches, crazy mood swings, and Bell's Palsy....DOES PREGNANCY EVER GET BETTER???

My 2nd ultrasound!! The dr says everything looks perfect, strong heartbeat! YAY! The baby looks a day older than expected so I was 11w 5d but now I'm 11w 6d..but they aren't changing my due date, still June 3rd. Everyone keeps saying they're thinking its a girl. Dr says 2 more months before my next ultrasound and they'll tell me..ughhh that's wayyyy too long!!! The baby had it's thumb in it's mouth the entire time and moved a little. I love this little person soooo much!

Is he getting help with the ptsd? I'm sorry   But you can do it on your own. He just needs to back off a bit if he's stressing you out. Tell him he can go to appointments and be apart of the babies life, but he needs to cool it in yours.
