I'm Colleen, I'm 27 yrs old. I have 1 son, and I live in Foster, WV, which is about 30 min out of Charleston, WV. I've been married for 6 yrs now to the most sweetest teddy bear. When I was 17 I found out I had endometorsis, the pain use to be so severe that I couldn't even have sex, well once I was 18, I had the lapro done and they had me on depo, well after that was done & treated I found out I had precancer cells, so I had to have 2 colopos, 2 freezings, & 1 laser treatment to fix that problem, after that the Dr told me to hurry up and have children because I may never will, well I met my hubby on July 1, 2005 after talking online for a few months and after seeing each other every day he proposed on my BDAY- Aug 3, 2005. I was on Depo at the time and I decided to quit in Oct 2005 and then we started TTC my son it took from Oct 2005-Sept 2006 before I got my BFP! I got my BFP on Oct 7, 2006, (Needless to say 3 months after me & DH got married) I had to wind up going to my OB every week for a transvaginal ultrasound to make sure I wouldn't lose him because of all my problems before, which everything turned out great and now I have my son.
My son's name is Ryan, he was born May 31, 07. I just graduated in December 2011 with my bachelors degree in Human Services and Professional Counseling and have worked at the local child advocacy center as the child and family advocate/Forensic Interviewer since November 2011. My job has its stressors- dealing with innocent children that have become victims of abuse and neglect can be heart wrenching. It makes me wonder sometimes why people are allowed to have children if they are going to treat them that way. My whole theory in life is to try to make a child's world a lot brighter!

As of July 2009 my hubby and I started TTC again which nothing happened, so I quit as of Jan 2010 and then we did the if it happens it happens method, and nothing worked? So Now we're back to using OPKs and instead cups. As of Oct 2010, GYN thinks I have PCOS, which as of Nov 2010 GYN called and said I ovulate and also confirmed that DH has a low sperm count and abnormalities, we went and seen a urolgist and he thinks its a prostate infection, so DH was prescribed a antibiotic then he did another SA once his antibotics were done, which it came back again with a infection.
Our Fertility Specialist thinks DH sperm count Is fine. My levels are normal just not producing enough follicles each cycle. Will continue using IUIs until pregnancy is achieved since our insurance doesn't cover IVF.

Dec 8, 2010- DH's Appt with Urologist.........Dr thinks DH has a prostate infection- prescribed Doxycycline for the infection, now waiting to see if it clears it up and makes the spermies better????
Dec 15, 2010- Positive OPK/CD 14
Dec 29, 2010- Period/CD 27- Coming always on time  
Jan 11, 2011- DH's 2nd Sperm Analysis Done/ CD 14
Jan 16, 2011- Positive OPK/CD 19- Ovulated Late
Jan 17, 2011- DH's Sperm Count Results came in- Motility is better, but theres still signs of Infection, so DH is prescribed another round of antibotics- Cipro this time, then back to the urologist in 4 weeks and another SA.........  
Jan 27, 2011- Period/CD 30- came late, but O late and I only went 10DPO
Feb 14, 2011- Positive OPK/CD 19- Ovulated late again
Feb 15, 2011- DH's Urologist Appt...... Dr thinks DH's infection has cleared up, he checked his prostate and urine and no signs of infection anymore, so he is sending him for one more SA, then if everything is ok I'm going back on Clomid and we're going to keep TTC for a few months, and then see, if it doesnt work we are going to a fertility specialist.
Feb 22, 2011- DH's Repeat SA ......I hope its good!!!
Feb 25, 2011- Period/CD 30- came late, but O late and I only went 10dpo again  
Feb 27, 2011-Started Clomid again/CD 3-7
Feb 28, 2011- DH's Sperm results came back- Dr says that it was too thick for a sperm reading, so hes puttin him on Vitamin C 400 mg 4 times a day and Guaifenesin 1 tsp 4 times a day for 4 weeks then back for another repeat SA.
March 14, 2011- Positive OPK/CD 18- A little better than last time
March 26, 2011- Period/CD 30/12 DPO- So glad the Clomid lengthened my cycle again!
March 28, 2011- DH's Repeat SA........Please god make it turn out better!!
March 30, 2011- DH's sperm results came back- dr said it is better which still has a high velocity, he is now at 12 million count, which the motility is low and still thick, so hes putting him on more Vitamin C and Guaifenensian 2 tsp times a day, then another repeat SA in 6 weeks.
April 7, 2011- Positive OPK- CD 13- Better!/ BD CD 14 with instead cups
April 23, 2011- Period/CD 29/ 15 DPO- Clomid Lengthened My Cycle, which thought for sure I was prego  
May 9, 2011- Possible Ovulation......Did not use OPK's this cyle
May 11, 2011- DH's sperm results came back better- his velocity has improved and the count is at 11 million, his motility is at 60 and he still has a few white cells.
May 19, 2011- Our first fertility doctor appt/ Period CD 27/ 10 DPO
June 2, 2011- Ovulation cramps/ CD 15
June 21, 2011- Period/ CD 33
July 6, 2011- Ovulation cramps/CD 16
July 18, 2011- Period/CD 28

August 2011- May 2012- Still TTC, but not stressing it. No OPKS, No meds, or any scheduling, just enjoying each other and hoping for the best.

August 15, 2012- ferility apt/test results- DH sperm count at 10 million, dr recommends IVF, but we are going to try IUI a few rounds first (since insurance pays for it). He informed me to start doing my BBT daily and he prescribed me Clomid 50mg to take 2 tabs for 5 days after period starts on cycle days 5-9, and Pregnyl shot for ovulation and progesterone suppositorys after insemination- Now just waiting on period to start.
August 20,2012- cd 35 (Started charting BBT's)
August 24-28, 2012- Clomid 50mg 2 tabs a day
August 31, 2012- 10:30am ultrasound before inseminatio- Dr told me to come back tuesday for another repeat ultrsound
September 4, 2012- another ultrasound-showed 4 follicles- 2 mature- scheduled IUI for thursday at 11:30am- HCG Shot gave at 10:30pm
September 6,2012- Dh Has to be there at 9:30am for IUI. I have to be there at 11:30 for insemination- Insemination went well (had to lay up for 20 minutes)
September 7, 2012- started nightly progesterone suppositories
September 18, 2012- AF Came/CD 29   Charting BBT's again
September 22-26, 2012- Clomid 2- 50mg a day
October 1, 2012- Another Ultrasound for IUI- showed another 2 follicles
October 2, 2012- HCG Trigger Shot at 10:30pm
October 4, 2012- IUI scheduled for 11am- DH has to be there at 8:30- IUI went awesome! The DR feels like it should take this cycle- count up to 33 million and I was Ovulating with a fertile environment
October 5, 2012- started nightly progestrone suppositories
October 17, 2012- started spotting 13dpo   AF is here
October 18, 2012- 14 DPO- AF is here   RE apt. To discuss further options. RE wants us to take this month off from IUI. He ordered me to have a HSG done. I am going to continue on Clomid and we will BD this month at O time. HSG is scheduled for October 25 at 1pm. Our RE wants us to use Repronex with Clomid and HCG next IUI cycle, depending if my HSG if clear.
October 21, 2012- started Clomid on CD 5
October 25, 2012- HSG was clear!! RE wants to change our protocol for next cycle. I have to go in CD 1-3 next cycle for a ultrasound then start Repronex injections with Clomid everyday until I have another ultrasound on cd 11-13 and then stop and have a hcg injection and then another IUI. RE advised me that this protocol is what he uses for IVF, but he has no control on how many will be fertilized- he said I have a chance of conceiving triplets.
November 15- AF is here!! CD 30
November 16- Had another ultrasound- I have a 24cm cyst on my ovary and I have to start birth control 2x a day and come back on Dec 5 to recheck it. If it hasn't shrinked I have to have surgery. Another month of no IUIs. Dr said it is probably caused by the fertility meds since my body is not use to O on its own  
December 5- went to the RE my cyst is gone! He's keeping me on birth control until the 19th and then once I start my period I can start my clomid, repronex and the have another ultrasound on Jan 4 to see I we can do IUI that next week!! I'm so excited!
Dec 19- Quit my BC Pills.....Yay!!
Dec 26- Started my Clomid 100mg
Dec 30- Started the Repronex- one injection a day
Jan 4- ultrasound- RE says we can do IUI on monday. I only had 2 follicles after injections. The RE said he couldn't believe it didn't help. He wants me to take one more Repronex injection tonight, then HCG Trigger tomorrow.
Jan 4- Positive OPK/ HCG Trigger at 10:30pm
Jan 7- IUI at 10:30am- dr said since I got my positive OPK on saturday everything should line up perfectly. Hopefully it takes this time!
Jan 19- AF has arrived   IUI didn't work again
Jan 21- 25 Clomid 100 mg
Jan 22- went to have a u/s done. the tech said that they would double my injections since they didn't help last time. She also said since I O before my trigger to schedule my next ultrasound and IUI when I NEED TO, instead of what the dr says.....lol....I actually feel a little better, since she understands what I'm going through.
Jan 25-30 Repronex 150 mg.
Jan 30- CD 12 Ultrasound- I only have 2 eggs that are growing, there is 1 more thats behind but not growing on track with the other two. Will be continuing Repronex for the next few days.
Feb 1- CD 14 Ultrasound- take one more round of injections tonight, and then HCG Tomorrow- IUI again on Monday.
Feb 2- trigger shot and positive opk
Feb 3- increased discharge and burning in right ovary
Feb 4- IUI went well. I've been having burning in my right ovary still yet and increased clear discharge. The DR said everything looked perfect today. Also, DH's count has increased from 33% to 87% motility, so we have a HIGH chance of getting pregnant. I'm hoping this time it took- I'm sick of needles!
Feb 5- Progestrone suppostories
Feb 16- AF came   I knew I ovulated on a Saturday again
Feb 18- cd 3 ultrasound/clomid 3-7
Feb 22- repronex 150mg 7-14
Feb 26- ultrasound- had 5 follicles!!! I was so shocked, which the u/s tech said they may be gone by Friday. Re said he could do two iui's to increase our chances and he would do it on the weekend If needed. I go back Friday for another ultrasound and to see if we can schedule our iui's. yay!!
March 1- CD 14 Had 3 big follicles. Scheduled IUI for Monday at 11:30am. RE said it was up to me to do the trigger shot tomorrow night. Finish my Repronex.
March 3- HCG Trigger at 10:30pm
March 4- IUI
March 5- IUI
March 6- Progesterone Suppositories
March 18- AF Has arrived   .......Started weight watchers today
March 27- Met with RE. He said that we should just keep doing IUI's and eventually we would get pregnant, since the insurance doesn't cover IVF. I guess we will be starting again next cycle. He also drew my AMH and Vitamin D levels again to check them. Lost 6 pds since starting weight watchers....woo hoo!! Waiting on AF to get here to start again.
April 15- CD 1 Thank god I can start a new cycle!
