Found out on February 21st 2013 that Daniel will be a big brother!
February 21st- Positive home pregnancy test taken at the local Zehrs, grandma was there and was the first to know, followed by Amanda & Laura
February 22nd- Confirmed pregnancy and booked first ultrasound
March 5th- First ultrasound, 6 weeks 2 days gestation, second ultrasound is booked
March 10th- Bleeding begins
March 13th- Trip to local ER to see why there is bleeding, baby is fine with a higher-than-average heartbeat of 189 BPM, mom is warned of threatened miscarriage and sent home
March 21st- Second trip to local ER for the same bleeding/clotting as before, baby is perfectly healthy and they do not believe it is still a threatened miscarriage; emergency referral is made to on call doctor, Adam Glowacki
March 28th- Mom meets Dr Glowacki for the first time and is impressed, more blood work and a pap test are done as well as booking for ultrasound mom is to book between 14-16 weeks gestation
April 15th- Second booked ultrasound, baby measures 12 weeks, perfectly, heart beat is 168 BPM
May 11th- Mom is sent for an ultrasound to check for placenta praevia, internal ultrasound is done and a gender guess is made by the ultrasound tech but it is on the down-low until June's anatomy scan!
May 12th- Dr Burke see's mom in OB triage for bad cramping and he gives her the results of the ultrasound from the day before, no placenta praevia but we do have a low-lying placenta (2 cm from cervix) as well as an anterior placenta, meaning that the placenta (usually forming at the back) is more to the front of the uterus

On December 21st 2009 I got the most shocking news of my life.
Due date: August 4th 2010.
I was in the process of my final semester in highschool, I attended prom on June 4th 2010, walked my pregnant self across the stage on June 25th 2010 to receive my highschool diploma.
On July 24th 2010, my life changed forever. My son is my best friend, he is my hero, he is my motivation, he is my sun, he is my moon, he is the air I breathe. He is my everything.
Today, I couldn`t imagine my life without him.
