My TTC journey: I officially came off of BC on Father’s Day 2009 (coincidentally). I felt twenty-five was a good age for me to discontinue, and allow my body to return to it’s natural reproductive state. I was on BC for 10 years straight, with no breaks. This baby comes as my ‘14th cycle miracle child.’ I had post-pill amenorrhea, then months and months of annovulatory cycles. It all seemed hopeless for a little while. I took every fertility supplement/herb known to man, and charted my basal body temps.
Without Clomid, I don't think my cycles would have ever fully regulated. I ovulated on my first round, and took it for 3 cycles. On my 2nd
non-Clomid cycle, I amazingly conceived
naturally!
Humor got me through every day. There were so many things that I/we tried, before something actually worked. My bf is a professional big wave surfer, and we traveled 5-6 months of the year together. I joked that the stork simply could not pinpoint what country we were in, and got lost. The stork FINALLY found us in Puerto Escondido, Mexico where I conceived. We are expecting our bundle of joy (a baby boy) on Mother's Day 2011.

It's true what Peeonastick.com says about OPK's detecting HCG hormone-- They
can BEFORE an HPT test (if highly sensitive)-- My OPK's were 20 miu!
