I'm 30-something, married with four kids - three surviving (our son, Elias, died unexpectedly this past March) - and one on the way, due in February.

I strongly believe in the rights of women to control their own bodies and birth experiences, as well as the right of parents to raise their children as they see fit.

I had to fight to have my first VBAC with my second child - I dealt with PTSD after a traumatic birth experience. I am working though it and doing much better. My third child's birth (and second VBAC) was fantastic. My youngest was born in water at home. We are planning to have this one at home, as well.

I lean toward attachment parenting although I'm not adamant about it. I am a little "crunchy," but not terribly so.

We started cloth diapering after learning our little guys are allergic to disposables, and I love it! I only wish we had discovered cloth sooner.
