I am easy going, friendly and chatty
Feel free to PT me, and make sure you say hello!   :-)

I dabble in graphic design, but I don't have any fancy programs, just Picnik and PB lol.

Mum thinks I am a boy

My labour prediction

Just about the time you think you can't handle hearing one more "when is that baby going to pop?", your baby will decide to make it's appearance. We predict your baby will be born 3-7 days before your due date. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 8.3 pounds and that your labor will be about 13 hours long.

My MOTHER IN LAW is pregnant! LOL Due 13 days after me!!
ETA: 2nd Jan, MIL text me to say she miscarried this morning   11 weeks and 5 days

Hamish uses Auslan (Australian Sign Language) to communicate with me. He started signing at around 10 months old and knows a lot of basic signs, which help make our days a lot easier!! Contrary to what people think, it does not impeed their learning and can actually help them learn faster. He has started using a few words such as Ba for ball, ca for cat or car as well and Mum and Dad and puts it together with the signs. I'm so proud of my little man!

My pregnancy milestones   ( these are more for my record, but you're welcome to read!)
24th Oct - got a VERY faint BFP on 3 tests! Can't believe it's been 1 day short a month since I lost our baby and I am pregnant again. - Due around 10th July
25, 26th and 27th Oct - MORE POSITIVES!! VERY strong now
25th Oct - 1st appointment with the doctor ( not my normal one though   ) and first blood test
27th Oct- 2nd quantative blood te
st
28th Oct- Made an emergency Appt with Dr as I had some bleeding.
Got the results of my 2 bloods tests, HCG was 24 then 86!! MORE THAN TRIPLED!WOOT WOOT!
3rd November - Had another blood Test

4th November - Had doctors at 9am, my levels are now at 2475! WOO HOO
7th November - We got married! I wasn't too nauseous on the day thankfully, but was asleep by 7pm!

17th November- had an US at 9am! It's 1!! healthy baby   HB 120 bpm, new EDD 6th July
25th November- hubby came home and I started to bleed quite bad. 1 trip to the ED and DR said my cervix is over sensitive. No more sex for us! haha.
26th November - US was good, no bleeding or anything. HB was 168, and started to see little arms and legs
1st Dec- found out my MIL is pregnant! She is due 13 days after me on the 19th July! NO WAY!!! haha.

Friday 17th December- feeling little flutters, no WAY!
Sat 18th Dec - Definitely feeling the baby!! WOW, much earlier than with Hamish!
Wed 22nd Dec, had the 12 week ultrasound and got to hear the heartbeat for the first time!! AHHH   Little Blob was wiggling all over the place!
Sunday 26th - Woke up and it felt like the cat was asleep on my tummy - nope, that's my uterus! It's coming out of hiding from my pelvis
30th December, DRS appt to get results of NT scana nd bloods - They aren't in yet, boo. Rebooked for 2 weeks. Told Iron is still low, but have sufficient stores. Hopefully get an injection after I have Blob. Also Dr sounds positive to getting a referal to KEMH, the VBAC friendly hospital   WOO
2nd Jan MIL Miscarried her baby at 11 + 5
12th Jan - Had my Drs appt, results of NT scan and bloods all good - LOW risk for trisomys   Got my referal for King Edwards, woo
14th Jan - 2 hour GTT test
17 Jan- bit of spotting this morning, been tidying up a LOT trying to prepare the back room as a babies room! Need to take it easy
17th Jan- Doctor to get results of GTT - I FAILED! I officially have GD again, at 15 weeks and 5 days ! BOO. Spoke to King Edward to let them know as I will have to see a specialist!! BLAH! Started eating LOW GI foods again to help until I ( most likely) get on insulin
20th Jan- Diabetes clinic called from KEMH to set up an appt, then got a letter saying I have been referred to Swans. Had to go and speak to Dr Sofocado, who said I can go to Swans as they do allow VBACs there now ( not all Drs a pro it though). They also have their GD clinic on site now, not off   So that's a plus, as well as Swans being 20 mins from home instead of 1 hour!

1st Feb - First Midwife appt to do height weight, history etc

23rd Feb- IT'S A BOY! A healthy one by the looks too! Measuring right on date too
9th March, 1st appt with endocrinologist to start my insulin - boo, but YAY to having controlled levels ( mostly!) Getting crazy kicks now! BP reading perfectly too

23rd March - Follow up Endo appt

Aw i'm sorry it didn't go as planned but very happy that you had a positive experience and baby is here happy and healthy   hope you're not too sore and healing well!

Thank you, i'm actually really scared and keep going back and forth changing my mind on what I want. I sometimes wish there wasn't an option, like if I had my son naturally the thought of a c-section for this one wouldn't even be in my head kwim?
