Daddy's Poem To Christopher.
Mom & Daddy's Little Angel
By Jon-Paul Crouch
I remember it like it was yesterday.
Awaken by your mom in pain and afraid.
She said you were coming and we had to go.
I was still half asleep not meaning to be cold.
As the lights were turned on, the reality was clear.
"Oh my God" we gotta go our son may soon be here.
As Grandma started the car, I held your mom tight,
She backed out the driveway and drove off through the night.
Not a cop or a street light could slow her down
Off to the hospital determined and bound.
I still remember the pain and the fear in your moms eyes
The doctor came and told us there's a chance you could die.
When you were born so tiny and frail, they knew right away.
In our lives but a moment unable to stay.
I don't know why God took you, though daily I've prayed.
He must have needed a new angel in heaven that day.
But he knows that we love you
And you will always be in our hearts
"Mom & Daddy's little Angel"
Watching over us from afar...............

Writting Your Name
I would write your name in pencil,
but pencil fades away.
Someone can erase, and that is not ok.
I would write your name in pen,
but no, pen it smears.
Scorn by the rain,
an will disappear in years.
Crayons are just too messy,
an paint it washes away.
I want to place your name,
in a place where it will stay.
I ponder this,
a question in my mind
Alas I finally think,
I found a place this time.
I will engrave your name,
in my heart.
Never shall it fade away,
Never fall apart.
