Hello, my name is
Katie. I am 23 years old and living in Lafayette, IN. I am the floor supervisor at Purdue University's Hall of Music. I am also a waitress at Hour Time Restaurant. I plan on going to college when I figure out what I want to do with my life. I enjoy photography & baking! I love to travel and have a good time. I've done some modeling and am published in a magazine and book! This is the life I've built for myself and I couldn't be happier!
I had my son on July 6, 2011. I was induced and while I wanted to have a natural birth it just wasn't in the cards. After 12 hours of no progress the doctors suggested I get an epidural. 30 minutes after getting one I was pushing, then holding my beautiful baby boy. I had such an easy delivery. I was truly blessed. My son is now almost 2 years old.
Mason has a half sister, Chloe. They are exactly 9 months and 1 day apart. I am so blessed she is a part of Masons and my life.
My Pregnancy:
Month 1- Found out Nov. 1st. - DONE.
Month 2- Told the familys. - DONE.
Month 3- Sick sick sick! - DONE.
Month 4- It's a boy!- DONE.
Month 5- Finally starting to get a belly! - DONE.
Month 6- Feeling great. - DONE.
Month 7- Getting things ready for baby. - DONE.
Month 8- Heartburn!.- DONE.
Month 9-
LETS HAVE A BABY- DONE!
Labor & Delivery:
PIECE OF CAKE!!
Induction on 7-6-11.
Boyfriend & Mother [Dr. & Nurses of course] were in the room.
Tried for a natural birth but after 10hrs of no progress, I took the meds.
30 min after my
epidural, I went from 2-10cm!
Mom videotaped behind me & BF cut the cord. [and was such a great supporter!]
Pushed a few times and he was here! I had such an
easy delivery!
No tearing/cutting. No strechmarks. Didn't keep any baby weight! [actually lost 10lbs!]
What kind of mama am I?
I use disposable diapers!
I feed with formula!
I believe in God.
I don't dress him in "baby" clothes!
I go out once in a while! [without baby]
I circumcised him!
I am
Pro-Life. But do not judge those who aren't.
I am a NON-smoker!
I believe in spanking, if it's necessary!
I allow him a pacifier only at bed time!
I believe in CIO.. to an extent!
I wish I could be a SAHM!
I believe in vaccination!
I hug & kiss & spoil!
..but most important, I

****UPDATE****
As of February 2013, Dillon and I are no longer together. It was a messy break-up but we are working at remaining friends for Mason's sake. Things are going really well for my son and me. :]
