My little Violet was brought into this world via csection on July 10, 2012 at 12:22pm. She weighed 6lbs15oz and was 18 1/4" long. At 20 weeks, she was diagnosed with several heart defects. She was not completely diagnosed until after birth.
Her defects include:
Inlet VSD
Secundum ASD
PAPVR
Heterotaxy
Hypoplastic RPA and Lung
Dextro positioned heart (her heart is on the right side)
Interrupted IVC with azygous return
She is having her first heart surgery on September 4, 2012 at just 8 weeks. They will be doing the PA band to help reduce how hard her heart is working. This is to get her stronger and bigger for her complete repair of the two holes and PAPVR. Everything else functions, just in a different way. We have been in the hospital nearly 3 weeks out of her 8 week life.
At nearly 8 weeks, she weighs 8lbs6oz and is still in newborn clothes. She is my little peanut!!!! <3333
